Get ready for the sight of the season! The 2024 Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree is making its way to the Big Apple, touching down on November 9 all the way from the picturesque town of West Stockbridge, MA. This is the first time since 1959 that Massachusetts had the honor of providing the iconic Norway Spruce.
Generously donated by the Albert family, this year's Christmas Tree is a towering spectacle at 74 feet tall and 43 feet in diameter. Weighing in at a whopping 11 tons, it's a sight you won't want to miss. But the spectacle doesn't stop with its size – once positioned in Center Plaza, the Tree will become a dazzling display of over 50,000 multi-colored, energy-saving LED lights and a stunning, 9-foot, 900-pound star glistening with 3 million Swarovski crystals.
But the magic starts even before the lights switch on. On November 9, Head to Rockefeller Center for Tree Arrival Family Festivities, a fun-filled day for the whole family. Enjoy live music while the kids partake in various activities. Plus, get a chance to meet Santa Claus and his elves as they make a special visit to the Rockefeller Center.
